She graduated from Boğaziçi University's Department of Psychology in 2004. That same year, she began her Master's studies in Psychology at Hacettepe University, completing her specialization in 2006.

Between 2006 and 2010, she worked as a training assistant to Sibel Erenel, the founder of the Virginia Satir Institute for Human Development and Family Counseling. She worked on translating training materials into Turkish and translated Sharon Loeschen's book, "Satir Processes: Practical Skills for Counselors," into Turkish. During this time, she also participated in workshops given by Kathlyne Maki-Banmen, a training director at the Satir Institute of the Pacific.

She continued her specialist training as a TÜBİTAK scholarship recipient in the Psychology Doctoral Program at Boğaziçi University, receiving her doctorate in 2014.

In 2007, she began working as a specialist psychologist at Okan University and contributed to the establishment of the Student Counseling and Education Center (OPDEM). Between 2007 and 2010, she served as the center's director, conducting psychoeducational seminars and group workshops with university students.

She taught undergraduate courses as an adjunct lecturer in the Psychology Department at Izmir University of Economics. Between 2012 and 2014, she worked as an adjunct lecturer in the Psychology Master's Program at Okan University. In 2018, she taught courses in the Psychology Master's Program at Acıbadem University. She continues to provide specialization courses and supervision to psychology master's programs at various universities.

She is a member of the Turkish Psychologists Association (TPD) and the Boğaziçi University Alumni Association (BÜMED).
