He graduated from the Middle East Technical University (METU) Department of Psychology in 1990. From 1990-1991, she worked as a Research Assistant in the METU Department of Business Administration. Between 1991 and 1993, he served as research coordinator under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Nail Şahin in a project focused on the education of gifted students. From 1993 to 1996, he completed her Master's degree in Psychology at Hacettepe University and her Master's degree in Philosophy of Science at METU. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Ankara University in 2006.

Between 1994 and 1999, he worked in the Education Department of UNICEF Turkey, where he played a role in research, program development, training planning, and the preparation of audiovisual and print publications. In 1996, he actively participated in the expansion activities of the Turkish Psychologists Association. From 1997 to 1998, he worked as a specialist psychologist at the Bilkent University Student Development and Counseling Center. From 1999 to 2000, he completed his military service as a reserve officer in the medical corps in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. During this period, in addition to restructuring the barracks' psychological counseling center, he provided psychological support services to soldiers conscripted after the 1999 earthquakes. From 2000 to 2001, he continued his work at UNICEF as a program manager focusing on the earthquake region.

She began working as a specialist psychologist at Sabancı University's Center for Individual and Academic Development in 2001, a position she held until 2010. In 2006, she started teaching undergraduate courses as an adjunct faculty member at Istanbul Okan University. Between 2006 and 2010, she served as an adjunct faculty member and supervisor in the Psychology Master's program, co-founded by Prof. Dr. Perin Yolaç and Dr. Ahmet Tosun.

In 2010, she joined the newly established Psychology Department at Izmir University as a founding faculty member alongside Dr. Ahmet Tosun and Prof. Dr. Sezen Zeytinoğlu. In 2016, she began working at the Interdisciplinary Institute for Conflict and Violence Research at Bielefeld University in Germany. There, she participated in research projects examining social conflicts from a psychosocial perspective. Currently, she is leading a project at the same institute aimed at establishing a peer supervision network among youth workers. Additionally, since 2022, she has been providing supervision as an adjunct faculty member in the Psychology Graduate program at Acıbadem University.

He brought her expertise in Developmental Psychology to her work with civil society organizations working in the youth field. Between 2008 and 2018, she conducted training, research, and consultancy activities in various civil society organizations, primarily Community Volunteers. He continues to supervise youth workers.

He continues to read and write on topics such as perception, learning, consciousness, and scientific methodology, shifting his interest from the philosophy of science to fundamental issues in psychology.
