She graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Psychology in 1996. She completed her Psychology specialization (1999) and doctorate (2005) degrees as a Research Assistant at the same university. Between 1997 and 2003, she provided counseling services to students at Hacettepe University Beytepe Health Center. She completed her internship and externship at Hacettepe University, Ankara University, and Ankara Numune Hospital.
Between 1996 and 1998, she worked with Prof. Dr. Işık Savaşır and Prof. Dr. Perin Yolaç at Hacettepe University. From 1999 to 2003, as part of her internship, she worked with Prof. Dr. Erol Göka at Ankara Numune and Research Hospital. In 2004, due to her military service, she worked as a specialist psychologist at the Turkish Armed Forces Veterans Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital.
With her research paper based on her specialization thesis, she won the "Işık Savaşır Award for Encouraging Clinical Psychology Research" in 1999.
Between 2004 and 2015, she served as a faculty member in the Psychology Department at Okan University. She held positions such as Deputy Head of Department and Master's Program Coordinator. In 2005, she co-founded and coordinated the Okan University Psychology Master's Program with Prof. Dr. Perin Yolaç and Dr. Ekrem Düzen.
After 2015, she continued to teach and supervise at various universities. She currently teaches and supervises in the Psychology Department at Acıbadem University.
He served in TPD's volunteer teams during the 1999 Marmara and 2002 Afyon earthquakes. He also volunteered in many social responsibility projects, including during his military service.
